SECRETARIAL

Arranging monthly Meetings and Communication with Committee Members
Drawing up Agenda on instruction from Chairman and circulation thereof
Taking Minutes of Meetings and circulation thereof
Arranging Public Meetings
Updating Website
Drawing up Bulk email and arranging distribution thereof
Maintaining communication with Residents  – on going
Maintaining Membership drive
Constant updating of Data Base with new information
Communication with Estate Agents regarding new owners
Maintaining communication with the Municipality regarding necessary documentation
Acting on behalf of out of town residents i.r.o. Municipal Issues

SECURITY

Attend monthly SFB Res Assoc meetings with appropriate feedback
Attend CPF meetings and weekly liaison with local SAPS
Attend weekly NHW meetings and do patrols twice a week
Making recommendations as to how to improve Security in the village

FIRE PROTECTION CO-ORDINATOR

Develop and apply a veldfire strategy for the area in terms of National Veld and Forest Fire Act No. 101 of 1998
Define the area of control
Co-ordinate actions with Kouga FPA by forming a sub committee for the area
Make Rules that bind its members
Keep details of equipment available for the fighting of fires
Organise and attend meetings necessary to perform duties
Regularly communicate the fire danger rating referred to in section 9 & 10 of the act to its members
Fix fees for registration and Membership and charge for services

CANALS

Attend Riparian Home Owners’ Meetings and give feedback to SFBRA
Manage Riparian Funds and liaise with KM regarding tenders and contracts
Manage Maintenance of Canals and Jetties
Co-ordinate with Municipality regarding policing of Canals and Boat Licences

FINANCE

Manage all the SFBRA Financials
Reconcile Statements
Update Paid up Membership list and other funds
Pay all accounts
Provide Balance Sheets when necessary
Attend monthly SFBRA meetings

SOCIAL SERVICES

Interaction with Civics and CPA and Clinic in Sea Vista
Communicate with Ward Councillor in making requests of the Municipality with regards to Housing, Sanitations and issues of concern to Sea Vista Residents
Lobbying for improved Recreation Facilities
Give feedback to SFBRA
Attend monthly SFBRA meetings

NUCLEAR

Interaction with Eskom, Sivest and Arcus Gibb regarding Nuclear issues.
Submissions on behalf of SFBRA when required.
Monitoring
Ensuring Public Awareness on Nuclear matters.

LAND USE

Submissions on behalf of SFBRA regarding Spatial Development Framework
Monitoring of Proposed Developments
Interaction with KM regarding Land Use Practises
Interaction with Aesthetics Board

SERVICES

Monitoring of Municipal Service Delivery: Roads, Electricity, Water and Sewage
Interaction with Municipal Department Heads on above related issues
Lobbying for improvement of Services to be included in the IDP
Reporting on Service Delivery progress to residents

BEACH RESTORATION

Monthly Photographic Beach Survey
Communication with Contractors with regards to Beach progress
Information dissemination to Residents
Communication with Municipal Officials with regards to progress
Lobbying Municipal Officials for project support
Motivating for improved Beach Access

TOURISM

Coordination of Tourism efforts with other Organizations
Monitoring Tourism Signage
Marketing St. Francis Bay
