Valuation Appeals NB! (Important message if you have appealed.)
Appeals are to start on 10th August. Click here to read the scheduled list Remember to click through all four sheets at the bottom of the spreadsheet for ongoing dates and times. You will note that not all of the St. Francis People who appealed, appear on the list, and this led me to query this with the Municipality. I was told that if an Appellant had not replied to the Municipality’s correspondence asking whether the individual would be representing themselves or whether it would be a third party, they were not considered in the Appeal Process. This I have hotly contested. Please get in touch with either Peter Gerber 042 200 2217 or pgerber@ec108.org.za or valuations@ec108.org.za to ensure that you get a slot. Nuclear
There has been a fair amount of action by the Thyspunt Alliance regarding the Nuclear Plant. After the last meeting with the Specialist, where huge flaws in their system were pointed out, Arcus Gibb has agreed to an extension of time for submissions. Click here to read the latest.
FEKRRA
Subsequent to the Mediated Workshop held between FEKRRA and the Municipality, several undertakings were made by the Mayor to rectify points of concern. It is some time down the road and still nothing has been done. Click here to read a letter sent to the Mayor by FEKRRA warning of action to be taken.
Beach
Another set of drains has been inserted into the Beach, and a subsequent survey done. Click here to read how your beach is doing.
Canals
Dredging continues in the Canals and decisions have been made by the Riparian Homeowners Committee iro revetments on the Spit.
