St Francis Tourism has improved hugely over the last 6 months to Tourism contributions in St Francis. They have made a very impressive amount of bookings – beating all previous booking amounts and records in the history of Tourism in St Francis. Although their municipal grant has been cut over the years they depend hugely on the support from the locals of the village, and without the financial support from the locals the office will not survive.

St Francis is a Tourism driven town and all businesses feel the effect some way or another, being a small village the impact of Tourism is huge and we need to realise this and value the importance. There are residents who do not want Tourism in St Francis and are happy to have a small quite Town throughout the year, but without ‘’peak’’ Tourism periods our local businesses will not survive, the local population is merely too small to support the amount of restaurants and shops in St Francis, so the ‘’season’’ is a very important period for the local business owner.

They urge that they need support from the locals to strive to made St Francis a better place for everyone, and one of their main visions is to get “St Francis on the map’’ hopefully a goal they can achieve in the not so distant future.
